I lived a different life,
Full of despair
and lost.
Dark hours,
Seemed hard
And unforgettable,
But they passed.

Those years,
Sitting in time,
Looking at the door,
For whom,
I don’t recall.

This morning,
I marked
all the happy days,
On the calendar,
the ones,
I carry my weightless smile
With no tension,
All through
the passage of time.
I was delightfully surprised!
Of how colourful
those pages are.

It used to be,
Just few black lines,
In May, July
And of course
In November,
When I arrived
on earth.

pulls me
In cold running waters,
Implacable current
Takes me quick,
So fast
That my eyes gets blur,
And I lose the outside line of my life.
the door seems disappeared,
perhaps it was
all my imagination.

All those years,
I kept myself in waiting,
Meditated on the door handle
Noisy crowds, passing cars,
And how funny
Everything had a voice
To make their presence

Trapped in my eyes,
The only direction,
I learnt to look
Was outside.

What I knew
Of me,
my runaway emotions,
playful butterflies
imitating fake orgasms,
under my belly,
so, I cry and call it joy,
so I say,
I am a living a life.

But my life was
a prisoner of my thoughts,
my desires and my expectations.
All those years,
I kept all pages of my calendar
in waiting grey.
But no more.

What a release
Not to wait,
for anything
for anyone.

How quiet water runs,
In deep silence,
No sign of crowds,
No voices…
saying hi or bye
All in stillness.

pulls me
in implacable current
with a new calendar
full of happy marks,

This new life
is mine.
